CORPORATE DONATIONS

Kimaryo Foundation invites donations from other charitable organisations as well as business companies worldwide. Corporate donations can be financial, material or services.

Financial donations can be directed towards specific areas/projects of our charitable activities or open to any of the activities. 85% of financial donations are used directly for charitable activities while the remaining 15% is used for administration. Material donations can be in the form of equipment for supporting establishment of small businesses for poor families and provision of education for children from poor families in Kilimanjaro Region as well as management of the Foundation. Material donations could include: sewing machines, bakery equipment, construction equipment and machinery, commercial vehicles, laptops, printers, English written school text books, etc. Service donations could include development and maintenance of the Foundation's official website, fund raising, provision of office space for the Foundation, sponsorship of the Foundation's Board and General Meetings, supporting the management costs of the Foundation, etc.

The Foundation will do its best to give back whatever possible to the organisations and business companies that support it. For example, we will promote actively all travel agencies, airlines, and tourists companies that support us and operate in Kilimanjaro, Arusha and Tanzania at large. For such corporate bodies, we are even willing to become their official agents in Tanzania at minimal commission. Furthermore, we will advertise all those organizations and business companies that support us on our website unless if we are asked not to do so.
